final fantasy VII coming to next gen remake or sequal

Recently the president of Squarenix has given an offical statment that. The statment itself leads one to believe that either will be getting a remake like we have been sicne they showed the demo at the sony confrence or seuqal. Either I will buy to be honest but I would like to see a sequal. Now don’t jump down my throat final fantasy let me explain myself. I just think that a new chapter in the final fantasy VII world be nice.  With that said we will just have to keep our eyes and ears open during E3 and Tokyo Game Show( because sometimes they wait until then to show you anything) to see what they have decided.
