I now I have already talk about this but I believe that I might left some things out. I will start by asking the gaming community to please calm down. We are receiving dlc’s with more maps and more weapons. As you have seen the falcon talon will come with submarine stage while the eclipse scythe will come with the desert multiplayer stage. These weapons will be included in the story mode of the game. It has not been stated if the weapons will have there movelist already unlocked or you will have to unlock it through some sort of upgrade. If you can upgrade them it might be to what they were saying about the weapons before. Think back we were told originally that we can upgrade the weapons through usage. I am saying might because as those who play the game will tell you the story dictates the sword in your hands not you. Leaving us with the question of what type of upgrading system will Team Ninja will use.
I bring this up because there was talk about a sigma version to the ninja gaiden series back in December. And seeing the angry people are showing at the game I would say it will differently happen. However the sigma series mostly added to the game content. We were given other playable character for instance as well a two news weapons in the last installment. This time though the add ons will consist of returning to the olde series as the two dlc we know now and the others that will come as well will bring back the old weapons. Hopefully with more than one ut(ultimate technique). The sigma series is a compilation of the dlc of the game. So there for all dlc’s will be crammed sigma 3 with more content.
The last statement I want to make is that this was an experiment for Team Ninja. They tried something new while at the same time keep the core gameplay. The result is being received by the fans of the series well. And although most people are giving kind scores the fans aren’t to happy. When this type of stuff happens creativity shrinks even more. The reason why you stick to something is because it works. The fear of trying something new is that it won’t work and thus you project will cost you money instead of making you money. I know as fans that means that it will remain great but please think about it. I love devil may cry and ninja gaiden just like you guys but getting a few add ons here and there is just to keep interesting and add to the awesome gameplay. The problem we have is when games are rushed and are missing content or changed a content that was loved by fans is removed to welcome new people in. Thus a balance must always be found and never forgotten. Thank you for reading or this case reading my rant and please come back.
