As you now final fantasy fans have been asking for a remake to the classic final fantasy VII. To this they were given two answers one tha it will have to wait until current projects are completed as they have priority over remakes. The second reason is stated until we they make a game that is better we will not see a remake. As you notice both didn’t actually answer the question. The first means that when ever they done with games they said they would make we would see it( I hope that is what it means). The second one is weird to me. So they need to make one that is better in order to remake the one that we have been asking for. This was clearified later on by Yoichi Wada he says that the currnet titles have yet to surpass the bench mark set by VII in terms of quality. If they did they stat work on it now he feels that final fantasy as a franchise would be finsih. I guess he is saying that if they are looking at the past and start doign only remakes thne he doesn’t see Final Fantasy havign a future. I can undersand his point after all only future installments will keep the franchise fresh. But if that is the case then he may just want to consider to Final Fantasy VII 2. I mean full sequal like the movie was instead of Cerbus which focused on Vincent or anyother titles. Also it would help if they would stop changing their answer to this question.
