Rurouni Kenshin is based on of a manga of the same name and anime of the same name. The story isn’t new to us just the characters. Basically Kenshin is battle harden warrior who is tired of the blood shed. He replaces his sword with a reverse blade sword and heads out in the world hoping to do some good and stay out of trouble. Since he is the main character he can’t stay out of the trouble and blood thirsty warriors are dying to take his head to prove they have beaten the legendary warrior. The Anime part can be seen in the fighting where Kenshin posses incredible speed and striking power that is greatly exaggerated. The move looks like it tries to cover the same stories as the manga.
