Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor Edge doesn’t just come with an improved Ryu but three lovely ladies for the team ninja fanbase to play with. Since all three of them are out I thought best to compare and contrast between the three. For those who can’t make up their mind on which dlc to get hopefully this will help you as I will be putting links to the gameplay footage as well.
Lets start with the femfatale you get first Ayane. Ayane uses two short sword for her mele weapons and is faster as compared to Ryu. Ayane is faster than the others in term of combat. Ayane porjectlie weapons are exploding throwing knives that are both for long range and meduim. Unlike the other ladies Ayane gets her missions which do answer some quesitons that weren’t answered in the orginal game. Ayane has the same ninpo she did in Sigma 2.

The second lady is Momji Ryu student now a playable character. Where Ayane has speed Momji has length and power. Her long-range weapon the Naganata also has an interesting addition as she can do an air ut. Momoi long-range weapon is payback for all those who got feed up with spider clan and thier flaming arrows as with Momji you can return the favor since Momji uses some of her own. Momji has the same ninpo she did in Sigma 2.

Now for the last and newest playable ninja to the Ninja Giaden world Kasumi. Ayane half-sister fights bring with her ot the battle field a samurai katana and fight with it revers style. Kasumi fighting style is a just like hee doa fighting style as she teleports between combos and just liek Ayane she uses exploding throwing knives Kasumi ninpo is like a laser as you aim it at in one direction and then towards the end it takes out the others.

All three ladies only have one weapon and can be leveled up to level three. I can only say the UT(ultimate techniques get each time you level up the weapons. I have yet to see any different move shown after once weapons are upgraded. Magic can be upgraded as well. Once upgraded the magic as well the weapon will do more damage.
