As many darksiders fans heard Nordic game took the darksider franchise after Virgil games closed. Combat designer, Joe Madureir took to face back saying that DS is not dead. His exact words are “Darksiders– DS is not dead!!! The new owner, Nordic seems very committed to continuing the series. As far as my involvement, I can’t say at this point. Hopefully we will all have exciting news about the franchise soon!!!!!!” The gaming community is hoping that this means that this statement means that Joe has been talking to people at Nordic and knows something we don’t. The down side is this is hope from the former combat designer and not statement from Nordic itself. The thing is there is nothing wrong with hope.
