At E3 certain members of the video game press got to see Persona Q. They were shown the ballet system and characters but were told something that Spencer of Siliconera couldn’t help but notice. Some how Persona Q counts as Cannon. The Atlus America representative couldn’t explain this but mentioned it anyway. I must admit it is hard to say how it is cannon but yet one can never tell when dealing with entertainment and what is and isn’t cannon. For all we know they will pull a Doctor who on use.
