Today during a share holders meeting Square Enix was asked if we can see Dragon Quest games appearing on other systems particularly Sony systems. Executive Producer Yuu Miyake responded by saying it is a possibility before the fans can get to excited with what that could mean the president chimed in by asking us to be patient and wait for future announcements. Yuu also brought up the fact that the game audience doesn’t seem to be made up of just decaded games and they want to capitalize on that. With that said series’ creator Yuji Hori hinted that a console game was in development.
