Keiji Inafune better known for Mighty 9 is expressing guilt over the bad reviews Yaiba has been getting. Inafune was one of the creative people behind Ninja Gaiden Z and feels as though he made a mistake not making a stand alone game by removing the Ninja Gaiden part. I can see what he means as the name makes those who played Ninja Gaiden before think they are going to get the same kind of gameplay but at the same time almost all the people who previewed Yaiba relayed the fact that it was nothing like the other games and to think of it as a spin off.
