Bayonetta has always been good looking and so are her surrounding and in Bayonetta 2 that is not any different. Now it is unknown what was the inspiration for the first game cities but in the second we are being showed that it is Italy and Belgium. These are not guesses but fact from the pictures that Platinum Studios has post on their blog showing the very places that inspired them. What this mean is that if you think you have seen that place before and you live in or Belgium now you know why.
