David Adams the head of Crytek USA has decided to resign and make his own company GunFire Games. The move may seem odd as he has only had the job 18 months but the man has his reason. To sum it up things were working well with Crytek and got him thinking about making his own company. Most people were leaving well to which when they were 45 strong they are now a dozen or so. Also David has been thinking about this for time and it does help that most of the people from your old studio is in their as well. Remember that most of Virgil games employees were taken by Crytek. to be fair though David mentions that he has been thinking about this for some time.
With that Explained David wants to return to Darkstalkers as they still have another one in mind. The thing is though they don’t own it any more. Nordic Games does but has no plains for at the moment. Gunfire Games is weighing its options as to how it should proceed. I should remind those reading though that Nordic did make a statement once stating that they would work with the game granted the team had time. So we might se a combined project. That is for the future though as the team is trying to figure in the mean what their first third person action should be.
