Today we got look at yesterday Nether realm new which gives us the basics of two of the magic users Quan Chi and Kotal Kahn for Mortal Kombat X. They are similar in terms of set up as Kotal uses totems to enhance or hinder his opponent Quan chi uses spells.
But Kotal comes with more as he can string throws together to do nice damage. You see with each throw Kotal builds energy to deal more damage, restore health or both. No example on how much damage or health he can restore.
Quan Chi moves more into manipulation as he make the opponent weaker or himself stronger. but also depending on the style can mix things up by using portal or summoning fiends.
