Okay we have more news on the omega editions for Ultra Street Fighter IV. This time we are looking at Evil Ryu, Oni, Juri, Hakan and Poison. For Juri she gets a new stance that allows her to use new moves. Hakan gets new set ups while Poison gets some new look to her moves as well as news. Oni borrows something from KOF and Evil gets a new fireball that works with gravity. I was wondering how Oni and Evil Ryu will be changed and now we are getting an idea.
Juri
First of Juri are evil character who was introduced in super street fighter iv. As I told you she comes with a new stance that opens up a new world of moves. For this who are not familiar with this gameplay style you have to get into stance in order to use the moves from Jyafuten. You can check out the images below to see what they can do.
Jyafuten gives Juri new options for her mid- and close-range attacks. I feel like this update really solidifies Juri’s fighting style: Tae Kwon Do expertly mixed with the unique Feng Shui Engine.

Hakan
Are oil wreslter is shown to have two new moves added to arsenal. The first is Hakan Launcher. The move a set up giving Hakan the chance to use Oil shower. It is a launcher in normal and a throw in ex. Next is Hakan Splitter this moves is an over head that has a slow start up so take caution.
In Omega, Hakan will also be able to cancel his existing moves. This feature, combined with his new moves, gives him a whole lot of chances to oil up. He’s also got new feint variations to throw his opponents off their game. I think Hakan’s a really interesting character and I love the Omega take on him.
My inspiration: The slippery king.
Evil Ryu
I mentioned above that Evil Ryu will be getting a fireball that works with gravity. The fireball called Rakuyo Hadoken goes up and then down. As the paragraph on the page mentions this is a new one to the longer running franchise and seems interesting but do be warned it does leave you open. Evil next addition is the Ryukosa this is mulit hit attack and uses two bars of super meter to excute as a normal. The paragraph has no mention what the cost is to do an ex form of it.
Evil Ryu also has new target combos that can combo into Ryukosai.
Man, has this guy got some cool-looking combos or what? With new command normals, new target combos, and new special moves as well, he’s a fun character that leaves you left wanting for nothing!
My inspiration: A new way to use the Satsui no Hado.
Oni
I mentioned above that Oni seems to borrow something from KOF well his new move simply name Mu is play on Takuma Neo Max from KOF XIII where the opponent is sent up with an uppercut and then brought back down hard. The moves requires two bar to do normally again no word on EX. The First is armor breaking and then it looks the enemy into its animation which means you don’t have to worry about them getting out once you hit them. The second new move is Kyoseijin a jump kick that can be start of a combo it is being stated as making a threat from the land and air.
With more attack patterns and new moves that deal big damage from the air, Omega Oni is a fun character that’s easy to use.
My inspiration: A demon dancing through the sky.
Poison
Poison knows some new moves to help her with those zoning projectiles. Her first move to help her with this is called Honey Trap. This moves deals with air fireballs and attacks. the ex version cost two bars but Capcom Unity thinks it is better we find out what it does on our own. Second is the EX Whip of Love. Not really a new move but it now has so you don’t have to input the same motion for the other moves. The last hit is a bit shocking.
Poison’s regular projectile, Aeolus Edge, has undergone some heavy changes. That, together with her new Honey Trap, makes Poison more of a projectile character. I’m going to continue repping her in Omega edition, of course!
