Toonami returned last year as a spoof but then turned serious when Cartoon network realized fans really wanted back but now it seems the fans are the reason it is shrinking. The late night anime block is losing the last hour which means no samurai jack or IGPX for now they are on hiatus. The reason why this is happening is because of the ratings. The spoke person for Cartoon network had this to say about the whole thing.
“yes we are being shortened due to ratings. We aren’t going anywhere, but we may shrink a bit…If things don’t pick up.”
However things aren’t all bad. If you are itching for the last two episodes of Samurai Jack you can check them out on demand. With that said he is the run down.

For fans of the series you can still hope things pick up so this is only temporary. On the other hand I do find it surprising that this is shocking as most shows that are put at this time don’t do well. Anyway lets see what the future holds.
