This year King Of Fighter XIII will not be at Evo. This shocked people so the guy organizing it Joey Cuellar decided to explain it. No surprise it is all about popularity as it depends on whether or not the game is still be played. People are not playing the game any more which is why it is not at Evo.
“A prime example of this is King of Fighters,” Cuellar says. “After last year’s Evo, the game just stopped being played. Even in SoCal (Arguably the home of KOF in the United States), no one was playing this game. Even though it’s still a good game, the interest died out.”
So if you were wondering Kyo and the gang won’t be deciding their king this year now you know.
