Eaxaminer sat down with Capcom Producer Rey Jimenez to explain that DMC Definitive Edition is not just a port but a more player friendly version of the game. This version of DMC Definitive is coming with new modes to challenge the player but also to help them. One of the complaints to the game was that players were losing combos because they didn’t know what to do. So to help out Capcom decided to give them a little aid.
“One of the major things [fans] saw was that there wasn’t enough communication going back to the player of what was going on. Sometimes when they were fighting a boss, they would just fall out of a combo and [players] wouldn’t really know why, they just did.there was an action that made sense to that [happening].”
Also the game will receive new tweaks to moves. One example is angle aid.
“The Angel of Aid, previously you couldn’t do it three times in a row, but now you can. We do have a mode where something like that can happen in the game itself.”
All the stuff may seem to make the game more like games in the rest of the series but in the end it is to make things more fun for the gamers.
As always thank you for reading.
