For those who don’t recognize the name Tetsuya Nomura he was the original lead director for Final Fantasy XV since even when it was called Final Fantasy XII Versus. He was replaced by Hajime Tabata this past year and focused on Kingdom Hearts 3. Many fans noticed that this might have been the higher ups making Tetsuya focus on kingdom hearts 3. However Final Fantasy XV designer Wan Hazmer says other wise.
“Whoa there, we are still following his direction on the universe, characters etc. so his vision plays a very big role in FFXV. He was never kicked out, in fact far from it.
He has to pay full attention to Kingdom Hearts III, another game that is in dire need for release, so the company has left the rest of the production of FFXV to my director Tabata-san.”
This contradicts fans beliefs that Tetsuya was forced to give FFXV and some my doubt it. I must admit it makes sense so I will go with it unless I hear something different.
