DMC Producer Wants Older Dante

Rey Jimenez the producer behind DMC Devil May Cry is talking an idea for his version of Dante. Inspired by Indiana Jones more specifically the kingdom of the crystals skulls Rey thinks it is time for an older Dante to take the reigns. By older in case you are wondering he means 40-50 years of age,. I should point out a few things about this before and please read them before you guys go off okay.

This is Rey idea for a new take on Dante not Capcom. Second an older version was done a while back and fans didn’t like it or it just didn’t matter. In Devil May Cry Dante was older and to this day most restrained as compared to his other versions. For those who say not that old maybe a little of the smart mouth still present that was Devil May Cry 4. In DMC 4 they were trying to keep the young cool type character with Nero while having Dante slightly older and wiser compared to the young Nero. Also it didn’t seem like much of a difference to me between the Dante between DMC3-4. Lastly we have no idea on how old Dante is. Since his features barely change and he is half demon many fans think he is ageless so other than personality it is hard to tell what stage he is in his life.

With that in mind what do you guys think. Should Dante show the wisdom of age forget the brash years. Or should Dante stay young like a comic book character and party like tomorrow doesn’t matter. Let me know okay.
