Final Fantasy XV Tools Of The Trade

We have been getting a lot of info on Final Fantasy XV especially the demo Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae. Well know we have some screenshots showing us how they brought the demo and are bring the game to life with. From level editors helping programmers straighten out the scene or in their words

“The developers are able to place shrubs and trees in the environment, raising and lowering the ground and the roads simply by moving the hemisphere-shaped brush around.” As well as “The tool allows the sync of the audio playback with the scene, the positioning of the camera and the control of the optical effects over a timeline.”

The other tool mentioned is VFX tool basically it handles special effects. For those who want a more professional answer “With this tool the team can control the intensity, vector and origin point of each spark of the particles, letting them create the best special effects ever seen in a Final Fantasy game.”

The article also mentions 3d modeling programs Maya (a few of them in fact) as well as PhysX for the physic engine. Just think of it like another unreal engine. Their is more information on site.
