Persona Magazine interviewed Katsura Hashino and Shigenori Soejima the two men are behind Persona 4 Dance All Night and Persona 5. The interview is a little long so I think it best I give you guys a taste of what is mentioned and you guys can go into it when you are ready.
Persona 5 as we know is being inspired by Lupin the third a infamous anime about a thief named Lupin. From the trailer we are suppose to get the main character is a trickster who lives a wild life which may not be good but has infinite possibilities. A little bit of ocean 11 the life seems intriguing but you know it is a risky one. The new part about this is that this may lead to the world changing around them as they steal in the persona world but go to school in the normal one. As to what they may be stealing it is not point out in the interview but we did see a little a bit that in the trailer.
The other part of this is the Persona 4 Dance All Night. The rhythm game has the crew reuniting as Rise gets back to pop carrier only to find out that the midnight channel is back and people are sleeping away without waking up. Kazuhisa Wada talks about the game and what he was aiming for. One was balance not just in game mechanics but also with character Naoto is used as an example with her busting out a little but from how she was in Persona 4 hiding her feminine side at the same time it can’t be about sex appeal as Nanko the youngest of the crew is in the game as well. At the same time each character ahs their own dancing style like Yu is hip hop while Yukiko is more ballet dancer.
