Guilty Gear Xrd was discussed at GDC 2015 diving into the artwork and how they brought the anime / cell shaded game to life. Taking a few queues from Blazblue another game in Arc System Works house they moved forward knowing what they wanted from the next Guilty Gear game as they say it as a reboot after being halted for so long as the slid show had shown. I will post the page below so that you guys can check it out but do keep in mind we have nothing new for the game that was revealed at the conference.
Another story to bout is Bridget the character who first appeared in Guilty Gear XX has been seen in Guilty Gear Xrd. Well I hate to tell you but it is false. At the moment the only new characters are characters who are being added to the Arcade roaster in patch 1.1. The patch tweaks characters while at the same time adding Leo, Sin and Elphelt to the cast. We were told in early development of the game that older characters may be added to the game but we have yet to hear any names. In the game itself we hade a few characters make appearances from Dr. Paradigm to Dizzy and Jonny. If hear anything I will let you know but for now we will have to wait to see what else is added to the game.
