Final Fantasy XV demo is coming out soon and either with Final Fantasy Type 0 as a preorder package or online digitally. Now we have been getting a lot of info on the game for a game that remained silent but something is still a miss. As Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae gets closer I thought we might see more magic but it has been labeled as not ready to show.
To be fair thought we have seen magic in action. In the demo we see Ignus using cure as well as a fire spell be used. We do not know which fire spell it is but I am assuming that it is the level one spell fire. We also know that weather will affect the spell. The fire spell for instance will be weaker on a rainy day as compared to a clear day or night. As ask for specification as the magic as well as the summons are suppose to through Noctis yet the others can also get magic off of him. This is do to his royal blood and that it allows him to use such things.
Also we hear the system is going to be different but yet we have not been given the idea on how. For example in one statement refers to Final Fantasy VIII draw system. This allowed you to get magic from the enemy and use it as well as a junction system which allows you to add magic to your status which gave you boost.
Now that is one part of magic their is the summons. So far we have two official summons with one may be in the demo. You acquire these powerful beast by defeating them then Noctis can use them. This one of the ways that summons were used in FFVIII (Honestly their were a few ways from battles to drawing them or getting from grinding through battles.)
Now we have seen the demo be played at Pax but no one really used magic. The demo was more focused on action and the open world. With that said the game is looking good and is getting good reviews from those who played it. Again I liked the game but I noticed this and figured I would put out their.
