It has been flying around the internet that Hideo Kojima the man behind Zone Of Enders and Metal Gear Solid is leaving Konami or at least that is one statement. Konami has responded to this saying that Kojima will stay making Metal Gear games. this has come as Konami is separating itself from Kojima studios as most the stuff from the metal gear website to twitter have been removed. The fans reaction to this separation is what had Konami to respond.
“As we have already announced, we are shifting our production structure to a headquarters-controlled system, in order to establish a steadfast operating base capable of responding to the rapid market changes that surround our digital entertainment business. Konami Digital Entertainment (including Mr. Kojima), will continue to develop and support Metal Gear products. Please look forward to future announcements.”
Now people are throwing their two sense in the ring with some saying Kojima is going to Nintendo while other just say he is flat out leaving. The reason for this is that they say Kojima was going before forced to restructure of his studio. At this point is best we wait until we hear from the man himself before we make any conclusion.
I am putting one article which brings up a source saying that Kojima is leaving as soon as Metal Gear Solid V is done.
