Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Understanding Vergil & No Disc For The West

We are getting more information about Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Greg Moore the Community organizer. He discusses about the fact that only Japan is getting a retail disc. For those who are unaware the game is getting a disc release Japan while the rest are getting it digitally. Now Greg didn’t explain why other than saying a disc version didn’t pan out in the West which has me confused as I do not know what game they are referring to as an example. Now for those who are thinking about importing the game Greg states that the Japanese game will have English Audio which is no surprise as other DMC have had English audio as well. He is saying this while asking the community to help support the game even with the disc confusion.

Vergil was also discussed as people are wondering what to expect from playing as Sparda other son. Although the game is focused on new gameplay Greg says that Vergil is getting a good intro and ending. From the trailer we see Vergil getting a few cut scenes but to see how many we will have to play the game.

“If Capcom refuse to do a disc release, cn u confirm if the JP disc release will have English subtitles?OH–totally misunderstood you. Anyway, “refuse” is probably the wrong word, but disc ver. didn’t pan out for the West in this case. Not sure about subtitles, but I believe the JPN version has both VO languages.gets a physical release on a dead console in Japan (Xbox One) and DmC gets one everywhere. Makes sense??? DmC: DE actually didn’t come out in Jpn. But yeah, these things are complicated. =\ I hope ppl support the title anyway, if possible. Any chance you can confirm whether or not Vergil actually has any storyline in DMC4SE? Will old questions be answered? The focus is definitely on new action experiences, not new narrative revelations. There’s a new intro & ending for Vergil tho.”
