Final Fantasy XV & HexaDrive

HexaDrive has been revealed to be one of the many studios working with Square Enix on Final Fantasy XV. Hajime Tabata the director of the game revealed that they have been working together on the game for a while now. Also Hajime something interesting about the development cycle which many I think knew for a while. Hajime reveals that in to make the game a reality Final Fantasy Versus XIII (the original name of the game) would have to be seriously changed as it was to big to be made. To prove this it never left the part where people are just thinking of ideas aka the theoretical stage of making well anything.

“During the Final Fantasy Versus XIII days, the development team set their sights high as they went about developing it the same ways they had other Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games, but things never quite came together and it was stuck in an experimentation phase. This experience made the team vividly aware that with the existing structure, they wouldn’t be able to actually put out a high-definition game of such a massive scale, so the development structure and content of the game itself was thoroughly re-evaluated.

I said this is what we all knew for one reason. As far as information we kept getting rumors and ideas with no confirms. As for videos we only one got one. Now things are moving with the help of a few studios like Hexadrive which we can only hope will allow them to stay on a smooth developing cycle.
