With the announcement of Dissidia Final Fantasy (square enix fighting series of Final Fantasy characters) many fans were asking if Noctis will be involved. Noctis is the main characters Final Fantasy XV and fans are still taken in by the demo. I bring up the demo because the people behind Square Enix brawler says he is on the their minds but not just yet.
“We’re thinking about it, of course. He would likely use something like his ‘Phantom Swords’. There are even some among us that have been thinking about it, saying ‘if Noctis will be in it, how will he perform those warps? However, this will have to be after Final Fantasy XV releases,” Hazama says. “It would be a bit too much to play as a Final Fantasy XV character in arcades right after the demo.”
While they are taking in Noctis powers Team Ninja the people who are helping Square Enix bring this fighter to the arcades is thinking about softening their touch. At least there were thinking about it. A past post was based on an article where fans were asking if the soft engine that was used for Dead Or Alive 5 is going to be in Dissidia Final Fantasy? The article had that as an idea but Hayashi the head of Team Ninja responds to that by saying not now.
“At first, we asked ‘can we try it out with Terra?However, currently, it’s been decided not to use it for the time being. I don’t know if we will by the time it’s done, but we’ll try creating the game without using it first. We’ve discussed how once a character that requires it for ‘that’ appears, we’ll think about it again.”
Also for Square Enix fans who are worried that Team Ninja are involved that you might see a ninja or two who are not from the Final Fantasy universe you can rest easy. They confirm that with the end goal of 50 characters that there is no room for any characters from Dead Or Alive.
