While on Twitter Ed Boon the creator of the Mortal Kombat seires hinted a continuation of the story through story DLC. Since it is ED boon it was hard to take serious since he like messing people. On the other hand this was done Mortal Kombat 9 as well when he gave DLC for Rain and other characters. Rain is only one of many characters in the story mode of Mortal Kombat who appear but are not playable but fightable as assassin characters. The whole list is Fujin, Kabal, Stryker, Sindel, Rain, Smoke, Bo’ Rai Cho, Frost, Sareena, Li Mei and Baraka. That is a lot considering that these characters will all need variations like the rest of the roaster. Now to be clear a few people have taken this into their own hands allowing you to play as Baraka who is playable through a mod that you might have seen in a past post. For me I want to see the story element that explain why in arcade mode we are fighting as human older Lui kang when according to story he should be corrupt only with Kitana. We will have to wait as their is no date or details on this DLC or for the fact if ED Boon was messing with us. What do you think?
