I am not making up when I tell you that today is official Goku day at least in Japan. Toei animation has filled an application with Japan to make this day official which it was approved and for those who are asking why this day it is how you break down the name. Goku separated is go which is 5 and ku which is 9. On top of that the mother of dragon ball Masako Nozawa who has been playing Goku since the beginning got a present for mothers day tomorrow as someone dressed up like Goku presented her with a bouquet of 59 carnations saying she is officially the mother of Dragon Ball. That tells you the series is big again when its main character gets it own day.
