The producer Koji Igarashi best known for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is out on his own with Blood Stain a new game but it is in the same gothic style of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and side scrolling game play but with new characters and more. The trailer of the game has Koji asking for money through kick starter but not to fund it completely but to show that their is an interest in this type of genre. The following says it all.
“The Kickstarter is seeking $500,000 in funding. In addition to digital copies, backers will also have the option to receive “Special Backer Edition” physical copies including a swordwhip, hidden boss, and Kickstarter-edition slipcase across all platforms.
The following stretch goals are also posted:
•$600,000 – Artbook upgraded to hardcover
•$700,000 – Second playable character unlocked
•$800,000 – Nightmare difficulty mode
•$850,000 – Voice acting by David Hayter”
