Konami Is Still Into Triple A

Earlier this week news was hitting the internet that Konami was leaving triple A games like Metal Gear Solid and Castlevaina behind. Well that is not true as we come to find out in this response.

“hope re-purposing speculation and rumor as news isn’t the new standard. I can promise you that we’re definitely not leaving Metal Gear behind or anything like that. I know some blogs were claiming that online this morning, but I’m not really sure where they’d be getting that from.

We’re still definitely working on console games and franchises such as Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Castlevania, PES and all the rest.”

To be far to Konami this was based on a rumor that has been knocked down before by company big shoots but the funny way things were going down with Kojima during Metal Gear Solid 5 development had man believing  they were walking away from it.

Today seems they want to prove the rumor was nothing more than a rumor as thye have begun hiring for a new Metal Gear project. It is nice to hear and see the house made by vampire slayers and spies will remain.

Seriously though lets face it. If Konami out right STOOPED doing triple A games they would go under in a heart beat. No good games means no yen. What would they do? Go the indie route? Please.

It depends on who they get in my opinion. Lords of Shadows games show that and we still are unsure about where Konami and Kojima will go from here. So lets wait before counting them out of triple a. After all if you can make it successful then It is alright. The problem is when you get it wrong.
