One of the announcements that left gamers hungry cheering was the Shenmue 3. The third installment into the action classic was crowd funded through kickstarter earning 6.3 million for PS4 and PC release. Well Ys is know posting that they have a demo for PC and PS4 digital but the final product will be for PS4. Ys has poste a statement saying basically they are discussing PC.
“This [Slacker Backer] crowdfunding is a new campaign so we have to negotiate again with all the parts involved. That’s the reason why you cannot find PC the version yet, but we are confident to have it in the near future. Please remember that in the Kickstarter campaign, the PS4 physical version was not offered at the beginning.Our plan was to launch the crowdfunding on 17th because of Tokyo Game Show opening and we did not receive the approval on that date. So I can say that it’s just a matter of time, I am very confident regarding the fact that the PC version will be added in the near future.”
So far that is the only change if I hear anything else I will let you know.
