In the last info drop Hajime says their will be something similar to limit Break in Final Fantasy XV. Now I said this before but I realized that after watching the Active Time Report that it may need more explaining since it was only used for two games. In Final Fantasy VII & VIII Limit Breaks are the powerful attacks you would bank on to deal the damage you need. If you want an example gamers who played Final Fantasy VII will know of Cloud legendary limit break omnislash if you don’t I will post the videos below for you to see. The two difference between FFVII and FFVIII limit breaks is how they worked were in 7 you can use them once a bar is full that is it you have to wait until your life is low. In ATR Hajime was referring to something similar to FFVII but with the ability to aid it which was introduced in VIII. He didn’t say that all the characters will be getting the Limit Break but he spoke to something similar in the game right with Noctis phantoms swords.
