King Of Fighters XIV was official announced at Tokyo Game Show. Fans were immediately taken back taking the conversation away from what was shown and had focused on how it was shown. Little was shown in the trailer as it was a teaser but we did some gameplay. If you would I would like to talk about that now.
Kyo is back to punching self. For fans how might have joined the series at XIII the kenpo inspired Kyo is rush down with auto guard attacks to allow to keep the pressure on. In another words his DLC moves are in place. He comes complete with new clothes. Unsure about if he lost his fireball or kept making him more like KOF XI.
Iori is also back to his old self now that he was his purple flames of the Oriochi back. From the trailer we see him have his classics with the only noticeable change is in his clothing. Unsure if Iori will have any changes he gained in XIII when Ash stole his flame and he was forced to adapt some new moves.
What was not shown but needs to be explain are a few things. First is at one point Kyo is about to do a punch move and has his family solar eclipse in the background. It is hard to say what this is as it could be what this is as it can be a new ultimate move like the neo max were in XIII or something else completely. Also since it this a numbered game people think it should have teams at the moment we do not know if their are teams or single play only. Also just like SFV it is also exclusive to PS4. At the moment that is what I noticed as I overlooked the trailer many times. So lets see what the second trailer brings us.
