The Game Awards 2015 is going to be shown and all the big names will be their except for one. Hideo Kojima was not present at the event. Geoff Keighley took the stage to explain that Kojima wasn’t among them but not by choice but by legal demand. This was done as Keifer picked up the award for Metal Gear Solid V.
“Mr. Kojima had every intention of being with us tonight. But unfortunately, he was informed by a lawyer representing Konami just recently that he would not be allowed to travel to tonight’s awards ceremony to accept any awards. He’s still under an employment contract, it’s disappointing, and it’s inconceivable to me that an artist like Hideo would not be allowed to come here and celebrate with his peers and his fellow teammates.Hideo is in Tokyo right now watching the show.”
At this moment their is no official responds from Konami in regards to this but fans have been getting small sips of this stuff through rumored sources but not full reveal like this.
