In a recent interview Game Director Hajime Tabata mentions how players can level up in Final Fantasy XV. Their is the traditional way of level up to gain power and a new one. As you notice I did not mention the new method as it is not mentioned in the article but rather hinted at. This might mean they are still working on the detail of this action/rpg installment of Final Fantasy.
“There are two main threads to the leveling up system, the first one is the traditional statistics improvement based part and there’s also the actions you can [execute] in the actual game.”
