2015 Anime

What a year for anime. 2015 brought us some new shows an old one as well as interesting one still to come.

Dragon Ball Super

When the new Dragon Ball movies came out fans were wondering if a new series will shortly follow and it did with the announcement with Dragon Ball Super. Dragon Ball Super came out with Manga and Anime. Taking place between Majin Buu saga and GT the series has Goku facing gods and thus having to master a new power in Super Saiyan God. The series brought the movies into cannon as we are slowly introduced to a new story that will unfold as team of Beerus and Champa get ready to go at it. As we get used to saying Super Saiyan Blue fans can’t wait to see what Akira has in store for them. Mainly because it is still unclear if they will have this series go in and rewrite GT or not.

Seven Deadly Sins

When Bleach went off the air I felt a void and need something to fill it which brings me to Seven Deadly Sin. Based on the manga by the same name Seven Deadly Sins has us following seven holy knights as thy clear their name only to find that is the least of their problems. Each one has their own set of skill, powers and past for fans to dig into from the immortal but troublesome Ban to emotionless Gowther to one that leads them all Melidas. Recently picked up by Netflex the series is also getting a second season. Something the fans are dying to look into.

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans has following a group of teenagers as they try to make their mark. Interesting enough they do this while the planet mars fights for independence or at least better living. The series only has one gundam at the moment with the rest of the mobile suits barely able to hold their own as they try to fight with Mizaki. The series has barely got going with 13 episodes and English dubbing on the way as Bang Zoom entertainment rallies a cast together. All and All if you want Mechs this can be your fix.

Gundam Thunderbolt

Gundam Thunderbolt main-30

Gundam Thunder Bolt is different from Blood Orphans. While Orphans has us seeing a fight for liberation thunderbolt has us seeing a destined battle as Zeon and Federation forces collide in the Thunderbolt regain of space. As these two forces collide the audience finds it self watching as two pilots slowly make their way to their appointed battle of life and death.

Gundam Origins

Gundam Origin I main-5

Since the beginning Gundam was about Zeon and Earth Federation duking it out and now we see hoe that begun. Origins tells us how the first mobile suit series got its start as the two side eventual make their way to battle. The OVA series has three movies that bring us that mush closer to the first Gundam looking to take down the first Zaku.

Blood Blockade Battle Front

The series that had me when I read the manga did not disappoint with the anime as people found themselves foo reason or another drawn to Blood Blockade Battlefront. The stylish anime has us in a New York city that has been turned into Helmslot (Jerusalem lot for those who read the manga) where earth collides with another dimension. Libra fights to maintain balance of a world tittering on the blink. Through Leonardo Watch we see a story of action and comedy that once it start doesn’t let you go. As the manga gets another series it is unclear that the anime will do the same. Many Fans hope but we still have to see.

Their will be a second post on this subject

As always thank you for reading.
