2015 Shooting

2015 had a lot of games and many in the shooting category. For me though two games were the main focus of my post. One was Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain the other although it was a smaller degree The Devil’s Third.

Metal Gear Solid V

The latest in the franchise MGSV had fans constantly watching sites to see what Kojima had in store for them. As Big Boss you must rebuild your army from the ground up which means that you can steal from your enemy in the game and online. Other nuances are K9 the loyal dog and Quite the silent and deadly sniper. Things took an interesting turn though as mid was through the game development fans shift focus from the game to Kojima and Konami relationship as Konami looks like they were trying to erase Kojima from the company. Towards the end of this dissolved relationship was a finished game which fans still is missing a few things, Konami being bashed on social media and Kojima now having a studio on his own. A twist that the man known for twist and turns or anyone for that matter didn’t see coming.

The Devil’s Third

The Devil’s Third is Itagki first game from his brand new studio Valhalla Studio. Many wanted to see what the man who brought back Ninja Gaiden and made Dead Or Alive the Game it is was going to do. Surprising Itagki starts with a shooter. Devil’s Third has you playing as Ivan who must go up against his old unit. The game has seen a little video game hell as Itagaki did have problems getting it off the ground. Nintendo took it in and now as their exclusive we see what they got. The reviews are unanimous in it is far from great and that seems not to be a bad thing. With some reviews calling a mindless game with a lot of glitches. Those who condemn it will find gamers who find the game gameplay growing on them making this a game to look into to see how you feel about before getting involved. For those asking how Itagaki sees this one he blames the reviews on bad controls and two if yo look through my blog you will find him taking shots at Team Ninja.

As always thank you for reading.
