Along with the previous information Hajime and the ret of the staff of Final Fantasy XV wants to show us they are working hard by showing us the picture that was the runner up to the one we saw at new years. The picture was not chosen before they put serious work into it as you see as it is only3d models. The team also promises to keep us updated on the project through out the year from different view points. To me that sounds like what they have been doing already.
