Atlus CEO Naoto Hiraoka sat with Famitsu magazine to explain their plain for 2016. In short Naoto says the company was working on existing IP to expand them such as Persona 4 Dance All Night. 2016 in comparison will have them focusing on new titles in the series such as Persona 5 which Naoto said in the interview that we should be seeing this summer.
“In 2015, we were able to develop existing IP on the side, such as Persona 4 Dancing and Etrian Mystery Dungeon.As for 2016 we’ll start out with Odin Sphere, then plan to release numerous titles.This summer will have the long-awaited Persona 5.And of course, there are several unannounced titles, and it will surely be a year of gathering for Atlus’ popular series. While the release period is still undecided, I also hope you look forward to 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim by VanillaWare.”
