Last week we were told that the smart phone/PC game Kingdom Hearts Unchained X is coming to the states. The thing is that we do not know anything about it since one their has been little to no information about it. And two it is a game fro 2010 which means we have a lot of work to do to catch to everyone else. The thing is to catch up you need to know what you are catching up to. Luckily their is an article to help.
First the warning about how much space you will need to run KHUX on your system. This the exact words from the article. “This game takes up a lot of space. The Google Play and iTunes listings may say it only needs 47MB and 59.3MB, but the initial downloads bring that up to 1.1GB on both devices. It’s an investment. ”
Now that we have that out of the way in this game you make an avatar to play with as you may find others to play with online. According to the article their are many story lines as with every 15 missions you are pulled into a new one dealing with familiar characters such as Snow White.
Battle system is similar to Chain Of Memories with one twist in the medals. You can use medals to level up and will come in three forms of Huey, Dewey, and Louie as an example that you can equip to your weapon. You start with the ability to have three on your key blade with a four through borrowing eventually getting up to five. These medals are attacks and you can do five (though the article mentions six as a possibility without explain where the sixth one comes from). The three attacks are power, speed and magic with power good against magic while week against speed which is against magic. To tell what you enemy has look for a red sword(power), green wings (speed ) and blue spell (magic).
Enemies are basically tag where you tap to attack one or swipe to attack them all. Once you engage the enemy and if you have a full special gauge you drag the medal forward to do a special attack. One all medals are used it is the enemy turn to attack.
The last paragraph of the article talks about how the author (Jenni) feels about this game as compared to the rest of the series. If you want to hear that then check it through the link.
As always thank you for reading.
