KVO X TSB 2016 was this past weekend and The King Of Fighters XIV was their among others. I would like to talk to you about what I saw as interesting. First this was pro players going at it with the 24 characters going at it.
First off everyone was still getting used to the changes with their character. With that said it would explain why most teams had Kyo and Iori in them with a few exceptions. With that said Iori stool the show. Being a combination of his DLC and claw form from XIII he was easy to use and devastating. We also saw a powerful Athena take the stage nearly unbeatable. Even though people used both Kyo and Iori often with this being the first major tournament setting for the game a lot of people stuck with what they know which leads to very few using the new moves or mix ups when looking at Kyo and K. But it was still nice to watch as we got a good look at some nice gameplay. Still to early to talk about tears since we only have 24 out of the 50. Which means we will have to wait to see the game comes out in August where everyone stand.
