Koei Tecmo released it future plans earlier this week and something was missing. The plains didn’t mention anything about Ninja Gaiden 4 something Yosuke Hayashi said was being worked. Although in thought I was expecting to see it mentioned but seeing the Neogeo forum I realized that we might have been given NiOh in NG4 place. This begs one question and that is are we okay with it.
NiOh scratches my Onimushia itch and while it has things I may not like as I am not used to them such as breaking weapons and retrieving things after I die it feels right. From the living weapons which reminds me of the special weapons we used to get. To facing demons and humans alike. After all as much as I love Onimushia their were things I didn’t like about that either. To be honest the direction thing did drive me nuts.
On the other hand I would love to see a NG4. Yes NG3 wasn’t that good but Razor edge which was more expectable felt right. I was one fan who liked Sigma games and Razor given you more than Ryu to pilot felt good. The grid system really felt good too. My nick was that they should have kept some thing such as Dragon sword other ultimate were Ryu knocks enemies into the air to turn to mince meat.
