The King Of Fighters XIV is hot right now as fans wait patiently for the game to droop. However a question has come up about esports tournaments in a recent conversation with Deep Silver. Deep Silver for those who don’t know are publishing KOF XIV in Europe. Anyway Deep Silver says that future release will be at the same time but also that at the moment their are no esports planned and I wanted to make sure things are clear about this.
Yes their are tournaments such as the one held at Stun Fest but that is not what they mean. by Esports they are referring to SNK holding tournaments such as Capcom Cup or Iron Galaxy with Killer Instinct Cup. That is not to say their won’t be any as Oda has mentioned their might be something and Deep Silver didn’t rule out either. Speaking of which CEO is this week as well as E3 which means we are going to have a lot of game information to take in.
