Evo is a big fighting game event and may games are allowed from Killer Instinct to Street Fighter V. However the games mentioned are modern games and thus get updated with DLC characters that caused organizers to restrict certain character depending on how long they have been out so everyone can be used to them. Surprisingly the newest Street Fighter V characters Balrog and Ibuki are being allowed. For Killer Instinct we you are allowed to go with the slow but powerful Raam. These are the newest DLC character for their games Raam came out recently and Ibuki as well as Balrog are supposed to come out this Friday July 1st. You never know with fighting games do we?
