While we wait for the Vampire Hunter animates series we are getting word of a kickstarter. Vampire Hunter D Message From Mars is asking for 25,000 by August 7th. The people behind the kickstarter says it will not effect the series. The people behind the comic book are some big names.
“Michael Broussard (Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead game, Witchblade, Civil War: The Initiative comics) will provide the art and Brandon Easton (M.A.S.K., Civil War II: Choosing Sides) is writing the script. Christopher Shy is handling visual development. Kikuchi and his publishing group are reviewing the pages. Los Angeles-based comics distributor Stranger Comics is a production partner. ”
The Story for the for the comic will be based of a quick idea from a fan even showing D on Mars as a young Vampire hunter.
