The Kin Of Fighters XIV is SNK newest installment in the long running series. Although it doesn’t have the polish of XIII in term of graphics the gameplay is as good as ever. But in this day age fans of all games always have DLC in mind and to which SNK has no answer as they have only been focusing on making sure the game is good. Verse adds the fact that many dead or lost characters are back such as Ash and Oriochi (who if you say the ending didn’t stay unsealed for long.) But that adds the question as to who. I would like to list people and why.
Ash – fans have been asking him and out of most of he characters we might get to see him as SNK has been playing with the idea. Not denying it or saying yes. Story wise if he is back it might mean Saiki is back as well. Although we only saw Ash we cannot discount the two are needed to exist. An interesting twist would be that they were permanently merged. My idea is hat Ash is his normal self except for when he does ex or SDM/ Climax when we see Saiki presence. That is my idea though
Rugal/Adel -The powerful boss who cannot die is another fan request. Although he was killed Verse was used a reset of sorts so those character who were dead are now back. So instead o wondering how he survived being killed Rugal can return to us alive and well. The thing is that if Rugal is in the game then Adel might be counted out and personally I would like to see more of Adel since he is one of the character choices that didn’t sit well with me when he was counted out of XIII as a playable character.
Vanesa – Since Nelson reveal fans have been asking for their short red headed boxer with a tie. Vanesa is the woman who Ramon always has in his sights. The thing she might be a problem in sense she might play too much like Nelson so it might be a big no. That can change if they change her style. With her brief appearance in the women team ending fans might thinking it is a hint but SNK is anyone guess.
Long Shots
Rock – Geese son has been a fan request for a while. A student of Terry but still influenced by his fathers power Rock brings a mixture of the rivals as h decides his own fate. The thing is Geese presence in the game made it a conflict as he was to similar to his son for SNK so they chose experience over youth. However fans are hoping that doesn’t stay the same and to be honest I am with them. Story may be odd but he is still one of the fans biggest request.
Nameless – SNK wants to make the games one universe so they will eventually have to deal with the elephant in the room with K9999(k49) replacement Nameless. So far he only has back story but the character might find a chance to shine in this game or saga. With Nest back in the picture as powerful cartel who is not dead( As I thought they were when Ingitz was killed) We might see come out. If he does it will be nice to put this to bed.
That my list at the moment but since we are talking KOF. Their are a lot o characters to wish for. Tell me yours.
