I showed a little bit of a conversation from Nomura on his recent project Final Fantasy VII Remake. Well that is only a small bit of a much larger article.
Lets start with Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Prologue. Nomura was asked about the PlayStation 4 Pro and will it be able to support it. In a brief statement Nomura said in a way yes.
” Since it will support 4K, the image quality will definitely be beautiful. Further details about how it’ll support it will be announced later.”
He was then asked about Kingdom Hearts 3 to which they are considering a good time. To make sure that 3 doesn’t overshadow 2.8 the team is thinking about when to drop the info so it isn’t left behind. For this he asking fans to be patient. (They have been). He is also planning something special for 15th anniversary. At the moment Nomura is thinking about something with 2.8
Lastly back to Remake. I told you the other day that the team is working on a new fighting system. Despite the large request for ATB. Nomura and the others are hoping to come up with something that pleases old and new fans alike. They find it hard to put in words so a video of some kind may be in order. The thing about it is that they are thinking of showing a video close to the level the final product will be. Nomura looked at the boss battle with the guard scorpion with Cloud and Barret and is convinced on the realism.
