Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming and we can either hear about it at PSX 2016 or MAGIC 2017. The reason for this is that Nomura is talking about some new gameplay that is different from the last time we saw it but thinking about the game once again appearing at a Sony event got me thinking.
Do you think their is a chance for the game to be a PS4 exclusive? I don’t mean wishful thinking either. What I am talking about is a good solid chance for the game to come out for the PS4 only.
First I will play on why it won’t. Square Enix will make more money on the game if it is on more than one console. It is a gamble nowadays to do the one console beat and some times it can fail bad. In Final Fantasy case it may no have room for such an avoidable error Also better chance on reach its fans not everyone wants to buy a new system for a game so is best to make sure you are covered.
Now for why it would be exclusive. Nostelga Final Fantasy VII has a interesting history as being the first of the series on a home console and most of the commercial showed its home was on Sony pride at the time the PlayStation. With that said it is a stretch but not that big of one to go with that logic and Keep FFVIIR in Sony house by making PS4 exclusive. Also development might go fast as focusing on one console going down the list to make sure everything is in perfect order.
