This Dragon Ball Super post has spoilers so please if you don’t want them then stop now. The last episode has Trunks doing a spirit bomb sword attack to take on Zamasu. He defeated him but the battle is not yet over. Zamasu physical forum was defeated but he still can exist in the sky once again giving Goku and the others a big headache in how to deal with him until Goku remember a gift from the Omni King. This saga has been anything but typical Dragon Ball so why not end the same way.
