Final Fantasy is hitting the big 30 and to celebrate Square Enix is having a bit celebration. At the moment we don’t know much but today we learn that it will be held at TOHO Cinemas venue within the Roppongi Hills complex in Roppongi, Tokyo, on January 31st (which incidentally is the date of Final Fantasy VII‘s 20th anniversary). To be more specific, there will actually be two events, one at 6:30 PM and one at 5:00, with the same contents.
Final Fantasy Brand Manager Shinji Hashimoto, who is assuming the role as Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary General Producer, will host the presentation.
Admission will be free, but only 200 fans will be let in, selected via lottery among those who will submit their application here before January 9th
Now the games at the venue are still not announced so rumors of what will be their are circling the internet. On such game is Final Fantasy VII Remake as FFVII is hitting 20th anniversary. To celebrate that fans think we will either get news on the game or see more of it something we have had little of. But for now in honor of FFVII turning 20 we get an ice sculpture that shows an iconic seen as Cloud faces down Sephiroth.
As always thank you for reading.
